God factory

I photographed this statue of the many handed Goddess Durga (who is believed to be the mother of the universe and the power behind the work of creation, preservation, and destruction of the world) and her minions some weeks back, just as they were being created in this rough shod factory in Siliguri, India.
During the festive season in this part of the world these same images are worshiped by millions of Hindus.
