It would be my favorite spot too. It's absolutely gorgeous. I'd be up there all the time! :XD:

Oh how romantic! Isn't it swell?
To rot with you in eternal hell...
Amazing...seems like a place you can lose yourself in.

 Fabulous shot!

I'm so jealous of your location - I love the way that's a "spot in town"!
Some of your landscapes are becoming quite familiar now, Praful - which is a good thing, not a bad. I like revisiting this place, even just on-screen: thank you.
I've actually been looking into the possibility of visiting Kalimpong in the real world, drawn by your fabulous images, but so far have run up against the problem that our long holiday coincides absolutely with your monsoon, which from several points of view would seem a poor time to visit.

thanks aidan.
the monsoons are around the corner and as u may know, i have been busy waging a war against landslides in my part of the world...the blogsite has become huge over the months and much of my time goes here ([link])
not much time for photography.
a big NO for visiting this area in the monsoons (unless u want to study landslides!); oct to mar would be the ideal period
thank u so much and like i just informed aidan, much of my time these days goes here ([link]) our blog against landslides in my part of the world
sorry for the delayed comment but i am busy with this most of the time ([link])
raising awareness about landslides
