A devotee prostrates himself before the young (he is 4yrs old) reincarnate of Domo Geshe Rinpoche (a revered Tibetan monk) oblivious of the delicious food laid out on either of him at Tharpacholing monastery, Tirpai, Kalimpong.
Took this photo on 22Aug2007 on the occasion of the enthronement of the 3rd reincarnation of Domo Geshe Rinpoche at a Gumba (monastery), which is barely 5 mins walk from my home.
I covered the ceremonies the whole day..many photos r blurred, taken under dimly lit conditions inside the monastery..nevertheless I hope I can get permission from the head lama (monk) to post them on dA
